Kilmacduagh Round Tower | The best way to see The Burren. The Burren is a rural area, home to many families that have been farming here for generations. The roads are narrow, and except for the coast road between the Cliffs of Moher and Kinvara, and the road between Ballyvaughan and Lemenagh Castle, they're not suitable for coaches - you're going to need a car, motorcycle or bicycle! Be prepared to take your time, though - there's so much history and archaeology to see here that there's a stop around every turn in the road! The alternative is to take a guided tour, and we can offer tours tailored to suit your interests and schedule. Click here for more details. |
